on many travels

Guess where I am? I’m in philly, typing this blog on my little blackberry. For those who don’t know, that’s my hometown. I had some bonus air mileage that were set to expire the end of this year and I didn’t get to visit earlier this year so I took the plunge and booked travel! It was a bit tricky to time the trip cause I was also communicating with some producers about the album but it worked out. I have one test session with a producer set for when I get back. We’ll record one song and see how it goes. Otherwise, I’m enjoying seeing my dearest friends in the world. Highlights so far of my visit have been meeting new babies, remembering what humidity is, getting bitten by mosquitos (I rarely get bit in LA if at all!), and going on a 40 minute walk while breathing in the fragrant east coast air. I also have a gig this Wed in State College PA. I’m both excited and nervous to perform live after quite awhile. Come on out to Sozo Arts (www.sozoart.org) this Wed if you’re in the area! I’ll try to record some stuff this wed and post up a video of one of the songs off this new album. Any requests?
