hello, this is sukey. apparently someone wrote an album about me entitled "who is sukey rose?".

I wonder about that myself. One thing I do know.

I love glitter.

And we hope to officially release the space signals ep sometime in 2011, or 2012, or thereabouts. We're still waiting for a few more space signals to arrive from the deep skies.

STARDATE: 10.30.10 | DIARY ENTRY: "from outer space" Sukey would like to let you know that 4 songs off the space signals ep are completed. We wanted to spend millions on this but Sukey insisted on doing it all the home-made low-maintenance way. It was all recorded in Garageband, but it sounds pretty good to us. The tracks will probably find themselves on iTunes for purchasing some time in the future. Until then, Sukey couldn't really be bothered to promote herself, so its our job (management) to ask you to tell your friends to check out her spacey music. We think her music is out of this world!

She's doing very well. We havent been pushing her. She spends most of her days in the mountains. She seems much more relaxed and we are happy for her, especially that she's making music.

STARDATE: 7.14.10 | DIARY ENTRY: "a long winding road" Hello everyone.

It has been a long winding road. Last year we found sukey a bit disoriented, stranded in the desert. Apparently the old 90's celica she was driving ran out of gas and there was no station to be found. by the time we got there, she was somewhat dehydrated and weak but with some divine tlc, she was able to recover. Unfortunately, the desert incident was not the last of her troubles. sukey spent most of late 2009 and early 2010 at a "retreat center for well-being" is what she likes to call it. suffice to say, it was a place where she could get some quiet and make sure that her mind didn't come unglued. we didn't know that minds were glued together to begin with, but apparently this is the case with sukey and hers was about to fall apart. sukey then proceeded to take the next several months easy, sleeping in until 2pm, mindlessly net-browsing, and generally wallowing away. apparently though, she has been writing here and there and is beginning to show interest in thinking about mustering up the energy to face the world and sing. we are hopeful. for the world and for sukey. keep posted for some possibly interesting music. sukey has been hovering over and around her imac. we hope that means new demos!

STARDATE: 9.25.09 | DIARY ENTRY: "totally stranded" Received an SOS from sukey this morning.
she is completely and totally stranded somewhere in the desert
in mid california
somewhere beyond the cows and windmills
we have sent out a rescue copter to seek her out
but we're not sure if it will get there in time.

we'll keep you posted.
we're sure everything will be fine.
